Since joining TOM in 2007, Fergal has built an extensive network of top-tier candidates, consistently finding outstanding individuals not actively in the market to meet his clients' needs.

He loves helping people advance their careers and providing them with outstanding opportunities.

When he’s not placing candidates, Fergal’s passion is wine—talking to winemakers, writing for wine magazines, his own blog (www.greatwineblog.com) and, of course, drinking it.

If Fergal could spend a year learning a new skill, it would be: deepening his investments or wine knowledge — one will make him richer, the other will make him happier.

Born in Sri Lanka, Nuwan moved to Australia in 2010 to complete his Bachelor of Commerce. After working as an accountant, he transitioned into recruitment in 2020 and joined TOM's Accounting & Finance division in 2024.

Nuwan recruits junior to mid-level, CA/CPA-qualified accounting professionals across Sydney and Melbourne in Commerce & Industry.

His accounting background helps him perfectly match candidate experience with role requirements.

Professionally, Nuwan is passionate about building long-term career strategies; personally, family is everything.

If Nuwan could spend a year learning a new skill, it would be: learning a new language — peut-être Français.

With over a decade in finance recruitment, Noreen is a trusted advisor to clients and candidates in financial services.

Starting her career at PwC in Ireland (where she earned her CA qualification), she moved to Sydney in 2013 and transitioned into recruitment.

Noreen leads TOM’s Financial Services Finance & Accounting team, specialising in senior finance placements across CFOs, Heads of Finance, Treasurers, FP&A professionals, Heads of Tax, and more.

Known for her positive energy, genuine care, and passion for supporting female talent, she has deep connections across the finance sector, particularly with returning Australian professionals.

Beyond work, she embraces a health-conscious, sustainable lifestyle, cherishes family time, and enjoys soulful house music.

If Noreen could spend a year learning a new skill, it would be: photography, to capture mesmerising images.

Originally from Ballycotton, Ireland, Tony completed his CA exams before travelling across Central & South America, eventually arriving in Sydney in 2018.

He worked as an accountant at two major Australian banks (placed by TOM!) before switching to recruitment in 2022, joining TOM’s Accounting & Finance team.

Tony recruits mid to senior finance roles in Australia’s leading financial institutions.

Known for his eagerness to help and his firsthand understanding of the candidate experience, Tony builds strong, authentic relationships.
Outside work, Tony is a gym enthusiast, scuba diver, trance music lover, and loyal Manchester United and Sydney Swans fan.

If Tony could spend a year learning a new skill, it would be: mastering underwater photography — or becoming a DJ!

Originally from Datchworth, England, Tom’s first career was as a chef in London and Sydney before joining TOM in 2021.

He initially placed roles in Change Management before transitioning into Accounting & Finance in 2023, specialising in Financial Services roles.

Tom is known for his strong work ethic, communication skills, and passion for building long-term relationships.

Personally, Tom is passionate about helping people grow, faith, and exploring the link between cuisine and culture.

If Tom could spend a year learning a new skill, it would be: learning to skydive.
